PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymer that is industrially easily produced and has excellent film-forming property, gas permeability and oxygen permeation selectivity. SOLUTION: The polymer has a repeating unit represented by formula (1) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a 1-12C alkyl group; a is 0, 1 or 2 or their combination; b is 0, 1 or 2 or their combination) and a number-average molecular weight (Mn) of 10,000-5,000,000 in terms of polystyrene measured by GPC.
