PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the water repellency to be maintained over a long period of time even if wear of a water repellent member occurs by the increase of the wiping number of times in an inkjet recording head. SOLUTION: This inkjet recording head is constituted in such a manner that the thickness of the water repellent member 4 is 300 nm or higher, and an angle formed by a surface having an ink discharging energy generating element 2 and the water repellent member end surface of an ink feeding port section is 20°or higher.
