PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve the restraint of design and costs by preventing a tray member from falling out downwards in a storage container of a lip stick or the like. SOLUTION: For the storage container, one of the spiral grooves 2 of an inner cylinder member 1 is configured as a falling preventing spiral groove where an engaging pin locking part 15 for preventing the tray member from falling from the lower part of the inner cylinder member by locking the engaging pin 8 of the tray member when the tray member 7 is lowered is formed. The other spiral groove of the inner cylinder member is configured as a rotation preventing spiral groove where an engaging pin rotation blocking part capable of blocking the rotation of the tray member by being abutted on the engaging pin of the tray member when the engaging pin of the tray member is at a position to be locked by the engaging pin locking part of the falling preventing spiral groove is formed.
