PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of displaying plural pages of road traffic information, in the order desired by user, which have been received from the outside. SOLUTION: The navigation system 100 determines whether a simplified figure of the road traffic information requires plural pages, when it has received road traffic information from a beacon installed on a road via a VICS/FM multi-receiver 116; and if the plural pages are required, it then informs the user to this effect by using a loudspeaker 142.
