Information processing apparatus and receiving apparatus of the present invention are a system including an electronic device, an information processing device and a server device, wherein the electronic device transmits first address change authentication information including first address information to the information processing device; the information processing device transmits, to the server device, second address change authentication information obtained by writing second address information into the received first address change authentication information; and the server device determines a coincidence between the first and second address information included in the received second address change authentication information, and updates to new address information if the first address information is not coincident with the second one. In the system having such a structure, the processings on the server side are very light, and load of communication is small, and the electronic device can hold the latest address information of the information processing device.
