A device for manufacturing a disc, and a method thereof are provided to increase efficiency by simplifying a structure thereof and to compensate a servo signal on the disc. A device for manufacturing a disc(50) comprises a signal forming unit and an identification information adding unit. The signal forming unit generates a servo signal on the disc. The identification information adding unit match with information compensating the servo signal of a first disc manufactured by the disc which is memorized by an external memory device so as to transmit disc identification information to the disc. A method for manufacturing the disc includes a step of corresponding the servo signal compensating signal of the first disc and adding the disc identification information identifying the disc, to the disc; and a step of giving servo signal compensating information of the disc to the disc.
