PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simulation device for constructing a simulation environment, in which a tool path can be reproduced faithfully by capturing parameters and data from an actual machine, without individually setting the parameters and the three-dimensional shape model data which determine machining paths. SOLUTION: The simulation device reproduces the simulation having the same environment as that of the actual machine, by using a numerical control device outputting data necessary for path checks and simulation, such as the parameters kept in the machine and three-dimensional shape model data and data outputted from the numerical control device. Furthermore, the same tool paths as those of the actual machine, including peripheral equipment, are created for simulation so that H/W identical to the H/W for sequence control mounted on the actual machine is constituted.
