PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette for medical examinations to increase permeability of a medicinal solution and to improve the productivity and examination accuracy in creating a microscope specimen. SOLUTION: In the cassette for medical examination with a cassette body 1 and a lid 2, the cassette body 1 is a square container having an open upper face and is capable of storing a specimen and has many through-holes, and the lid 2 is mounted detachably on the cassette body 1 and has many through-holes. The end of at least one side of the lid 2 is constituted by a comb-type rib consisting of many U-shaped rib pieces 8a, 8b opening externally, and the U-shaped rib and the side wall of cassette body 1 have more through-holes 7a formed.
