PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polygonal window formed of less number of members, having high watertightness, excellent in aesthetic appearance, manufacturable at less labor and cost, and preventing the external wall of a building from being stained by rainwater and condensed water. SOLUTION: A metal window frame is integrally formed of an aluminum cast iron. A water collecting hollow part for collecting the rainwater flowing down on the outdoor surface of a panel or a screen or the condensed water flowing down on the indoor side surface of the panel or the screen is formed on the lower side of the metal window frame. A water drainage hole is formed in the water collecting hollow part. A flashing projection is formed near the outdoor side of the water drainage hole. The metal window frame has a continuous outer peripheral wall the outline of which is generally rhombic, rhombic, hexagonal, or like a home base when viewed from the front. One corner part of the wall is formed at the top part. A flashing projecting edge is formed at the lower end of a tilted surface tilting downward from the top part of the outer peripheral wall to both sides. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
