<p>The method involves using same electronically stored document as contractual basis at the time of the transaction by contracting parties (11, 12). Biometric characteristics of the contracting parties are received at the time of the transaction for verifying the identity of the parties. A certification center (13) is provided for releasing the certificates (6) for the transacted contracts. The biometric characteristics of the parties are stored in the certification center. A detection unit (10) produces document check sum from the received biometric characteristics.</p>
