<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle tracking device for clearly photographing a vehicle to be tracked. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle tracking device comprises a turn base driver 12 for driving the turning operation of a visible light camera 1 and infrared camera 2 arranged in parallel, a turn base driver 22 for driving the turning operation of the infrared camera 2, a lens driver 11 for adjusting the zoom scaling factor of a telephoto lens 13 of the visible light camera 1, a lens driver 21 for adjusting the zoom scaling factor of a telephoto lens 23 of the infrared camera 2, an image processing section 3 that extracts a part having a feature amount of the vehicle to be tracked from image data output by the infrared camera 2 and determines by calculation the data for adjusting the angle of view of a photographed image according to the part having the feature amount, and a CPU 5 that controls the turn base drivers 12 and 22 and the lens driver 11 and 21 based on the data determined by the image processing section 3 and outputs the data of the image photographed by the visible light camera 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
