<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize high-quality musical sound excellently responds to timbre variations without generating a feeling of unevenness in the timbre variations. <P>SOLUTION: A dynamics value is intermittently acquired at a prescribed time intervals, and waveform data for sustain sound corresponding to the dynamics value acquired from a storage means is specified. When generating a musical sound waveform while switching the waveform to the specified waveform, a waveform switching time is used for appropriately changing according to dynamics variations from a prescribed time before acquiring the dynamics value until acquiring the dynamics value. In this way, it is possible not only to variably control the musical sound with a property of actualizing the timbre variations according to the input dynamics value, but also to synthesize the musical sound faithfully reproduced the timbre variations with high quality so as to excellently responcd to the timbre variations and not to generate the feeling of unevenness in the timbre variations when executing such control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
