<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which correctly performs a circuit operation even when switching the voltages of the power circuits of different voltages, does not give loads to a circuit element and reduces standby power in the rice cooker provided with a plurality of DC power sources for an operation obtained from a commercial power source. <P>SOLUTION: An inner pot 1 is freely detachably housed inside a rice cooker main body 2 whose upper surface is opened, single direction power 4 is converted to high frequency power by an inverter circuit 9, the inner pot 1 is induction-heated by a heating coil 3, and induction heating when cooking rice and when insulating heat or the like is controlled. The operation current of the respective parts of the circuit is supplied from the output voltage of a second power circuit 21 during a standby state wherein the heating operation of cooking rice or insulating heat or the like is not performed, and changeover is performed by a switching supply means 22 so as to supply the operation current from the first power circuit 20 of a higher output voltage during the heating operation. When the detection voltage of a voltage detection means 23 for detecting the output voltage from the switching supply means 22 is equal to or lower than a fixed voltage, the induction heating is stopped by a first stop means 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
