PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology contributive to arrange a large number of coils easily for the stator. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a motor comprises a first step of preparing a coil 120 under such a state as wound annularly and bundled, a second step of preparing a split core 101 under such a state as the circumferential clearance L2 in the split core 101 of a pair of pole pieces 113 is set to a distance corresponding to the circumferential inside dimension L3 in the split core 101 of the coil 120, a third step of inserting the coil 120 under bundled state from an opening 115a into two coil containing sections 115 and arranging the coil in place, and a fourth step of deforming the split core 101 such that the clearance L2 of the pair of pole pieces 113 becomes longer than the inside dimension L3 of the coil 120 thus holding the coil 120 by means of the pair of pole pieces 113.
