PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing apparatus which makes screen printing without generating a defect caused by a projecting part of a screen mesh plate on matrix-arrayed pixels. SOLUTION: A screen mesh 222 used for the screen printing apparatus for forming a frame-like seal material in a dot matrix type liquid crystal displaying panel is formed by braiding wefts 222a and warps 222b in the intersecting direction at right angles each other. In this case, the array pitch pa of the wefts 222a and the array pitch pb of the warps 222b substantially respectively match the array pitch of the pixels formed by a matrix array in the liquid crystal displaying panel as a work. Projecting parts 2222 generated at intersecting parts of the wefts 222a and the warps 222b are thereby positioned in the gaps between the pixels. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
