PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system, a wireless terminal and a wireless communication method, which can obtain high throughput even in the case where communication is performed among a plurality of terminals. SOLUTION: A wireless communication system has a base station 101 of a wireless LAN, and a plurality of terminals 102-104 for performing intercommunication via the base station 101. The terminal 102 has communication means for performing direct communication among terminals without intervention of the base station 101, with the other terminal 103 using a second wireless channel 106 different from a first wireless channel 105 used for wireless communication with the base station 101.
