<p>A hinge assembly and an LCD monitor having the same are provided to improve the assembly between a boss hinge and a hinge cover by interposing an idle member functioning as a bearing between the boss hinge and the hinge cover. A hinge assembly includes a hinge body(21), an insertion member(22), a first hinge cover(23), a boss hinge(21a), a second hinge cover(24), and an idle member(30). The insertion member is assembled at one side of the hinge body. The first hinge cover is connected and assembled to the insertion member, and is connected to a main body of a monitor through one end thereof. The boss hinge is formed at the other side of the hinge body, and is inserted into the second hinge cover. The second hinge cover is connected to the main body of the monitor. The idle member is assembled between the first and second hinge covers for reducing the friction between the boss hinge and the second hinge cover.</p> |
