<p>The invention relates to a brake disc, in particular for a vehicle, comprising at least one annular friction surface (1), which is provided on one and preferably both outer faces of said disc and to which a brake pad can be applied for braking purposes. According to the invention, the friction surface (1) consists of a large number of sub-segments (2, 3, 4, 6), at least some of which are physically separated from one another by expansion joints (5).
