A liquid crystal display device and a repairing method thereof are provided to control power supply for a repair line which is repaired for short defect, thereby removing gray level difference among adjacent lines. A liquid crystal display device includes gate and data lines(GL,DL) intersecting each other, first and second repair lines(114) for repairing any signal lines of the gate and data lines, an amplifier for amplifying a driving signal supplied to the signal lines and supplying the same to any one of the first and second repair lines, and a capacitor(150) connected to an output terminal of the amplifier and a base voltage. A first pass line(122) transmits the driving signal to the amplifier, and a second pass line(124) transmits the amplified signal output from the amplifier to the second repair line.
