A device for estimating a position on a map using a GPS receiving module is provided to know the current position of a user using a GPS receiving module. A device for estimating a position on a map using a GPS receiving module(113) includes a base(101), a scale ruler(103) positioned at both sides of the base, a checking grid(106) positioned at the upper part of the base, the GPS receiving module positioned at the lower side of the checking grid, and a compass(115) positioned at the lower side of the GPS receiving module. The size of the checking grid is the same as that of one grid of a representative map. An outline(107) of the checking grid is drawn with a thick line, and a distance corresponding to the scale is indicated with a number(108) and a line(109).
