A light emitting diode and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve a life span of an electrode by preventing deterioration of an electrode and decreasing power consumption through resistance reduction of a signal line. A light emitting diode includes a first electrode(303), a light emitting part, a second electrode(315), and a third electrode(317). The light emitting part is formed on the first electrode. The second electrode and the third electrode are formed on the top of the light emitting part and one of the second and third electrodes is formed on the outline of the light emitting part. And the work functions of the second and third electrodes are different from each other. |
