The device is for warning other users of the road in the form of a report fixed to a report carrier (8), which has a lower half (7) and an upper half (5), together with a hinge (6) and a closure (9). The lower and upper halves can lie in a plane, so that the report is visible and can be coupled to each half, whereby the report is invisible between the lower and upper halves. Coupling devices (11) are provided to fix the upper half of the report carrier to the sun flap (4) of a vehicle (1). Such coupling devicse have sprung clamps (11) which clamp the upper half removably ag ainst the sun flap.
