摘要

A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve the uniformity of a light guide plate by forming optimally designed prism patterns at the light guide plate by a predetermined formula. A liquid crystal display device(1) includes a liquid crystal display panel(20), a light source part formed at one side of the liquid crystal display panel for generating a light, and a light guide plate(40) having a plurality of prisms(41) placed at the rear side of the liquid crystal panel for inducing the light generated at the light source unit to the liquid crystal panel. Height(h) and pitch(p) of the prisms are decided by a formula h/p=-3.1+(0.156667*length), wherein the length indicates the length of the light guide plate in a vertical direction.
