APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR UNMANNED LOCKER AND UNMANNED PARCEL DELIVERY SYSTEM

A parcel locker, an unmanned parcel delivery system and an operation method thereof are provided to solve inconvenience that a sender and a recipient should meet directly for carrier exchange and to prevent a misdelivery occurring while delivering a parcel. A unmanned parcel delivery system(100) includes a plurality of source parcel delivery lockers(120), a plurality of destination parcel lockers(130) and a management server(110). The source parcel delivery lockers and the destination parcel delivery lockers provide excellent accessibility to users who sends and receives parcels. The source parcel delivery lockers and the destination parcel delivery lockers are connected to the management server via communication networks(101,102). The management server is connected to a credit card company's server(140) via a communication network(141) and thus it can perform a credit approval process according to an approval request transmitted from the parcel delivery lockers. The management server is connected to a mobile communication company's server(150) via the communication network and thus the management server it can perform a mobile authentication request and a mobile approval request transmitted from the parcel delivery lockers.
