DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL CONTAINING FLUORESCENT MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF

<p>A dye-sensitive solar cell containing a fluorescent material and a method for manufacturing the solar cell are provided to improve an energy conversion efficiency by using a light emitting property of the fluorescent material at a visual ray region. A dye-sensitive solar cell includes a counter electrode(10) and an optical electrode(20). The counter electrode includes a transmissive layer and a catalyst layer. The transmissive layer is formed by depositing an FTO(Fluorine-doped Tin Oxide) film on a transparent glass substrate. The catalyst layer is formed by depositing a platinum layer on the FTO film. The optical electrode includes the transmissive layer. The optical electrode is coated with a mixture of a transition metal oxide containing TiO2 and a fluorescent material(25). A dye is absorbed by the optical electrode(26). An adhesive film(30) seals a space between the counter electrode and the optical electrode. An electrolyte material is filled in the space.</p>
