<p>A method of cleaning railtrack grooves on the run by employing a railtrack groove cleaning unit disposed on a carrier vehicle wherein a high-pressure jet (2) of a fluid, such as liquid, gas, steam, cold or heated cleaning liquid or a mixture thereof, is directed towards the dirt layer (12) of the railtrack groove (3) whereby jets (11) of fluid reflected from the point of impact (4) remove the dirt and a mixture of dirt and fluid is transported by a collector device and a guide device to a conveyor device (14) from where it is sent towards a dirt collector device where the waste liquid is at least partially separated from the dirt or directly extracted.</p> |
