PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding device for inside face of non-circular workpiece comprising a welding torch 2 inside the workpiece 3 with a cable 1 put in and out through a small opening of the workpiece 3 such as a container body and a torch driving mechanism 7 located outside to move the welding torch back and forth easily following inside profile of a portion 4 to be welded, which enables welding of the inside face even when the workpiece 3 has no large opening nor open section and is a non-circular workpiece having an ellipsoidal inside face or the like instead of a circular inside face. SOLUTION: The welding device for inside face of non-circular workpiece has a cable 1 arranged in an inserted state toward the portion 4 to be welded inside the workpiece 3. The welding torch 2 at the tip of cable 1 is attached movably back and forth to a torch fixture 6. While the workpiece 3 is rotated with moving the welding torch 2 relatively along the portion 4 to be welded, the welding torch 2 is kept close all the time to the portion 4 to be welded by being moved back and forth corresponding to non-circular inside face profile of the potion 4 to be welded.
