<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparation of plant extract stably including large amount of quercetin glycoside and kaempferol glycoside by suppressing thermal decomposition thereof, and to provide plant extract, especially plant extract in dried powder state, excellent in solubility to water, suppressing inconvenient coloring, suitable for formulating water based composition such as a drink or a lotion. <P>SOLUTION: The plant extract is prepared by subjecting the plant or plant extract including quercetin glycoside or kaempferol glycoside to a heat treatment in the presence of an acid or its salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
