PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method capable of manufacturing, with high productivity, a metal junction body formed by joining two metal pieces different in material thereof to each other at their end surfaces with high strength. SOLUTION: By continuously pressing the two linear, rod-like or strip-like metal pieces 2A and 2B different in material by dies 4 and 10 facing to each other so that the end surfaces of the two metal pieces 2A and 2B contact to each other, and both their metal piece materials are projected from the end surfaces contacting to each other to the circumference in a flange-like form (2C is the flange-like part) after contacting, the metal junction body 2E (or 2F) formed by joining the two metal pieces 2A and 2B to each other at the end surfaces can be provided.
