<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suitably forming an image. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a developing device equipped with a development container which contains a developer, a developer supply means of supplying the developer contained in the development container to a photoreceptor, a temperature/humidity sensor which detects the humidity in the development container, and an adjusting means of adjusting the supply amount of the developer supplied by the developer supply means based upon the humidity detected by the temperature/humidity sensor. The supply amount of the developer supplied to a developing sleeve is adjusted by increasing the rotating speed of a first pivot included in the developer supply means by the adjusting means to a second rotating speed 49b when the humidity detected by the temperature/humidity sensor is high or decreasing the rotating speed of the first pivot to a third rotating speed 49c when low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
