<p>A stent delivery catheter having an inner tube that has the distal end and the proximal end and where a stent is placed on the outer periphery surface on the distal end side; an outer tube that has the distal end and the proximal end, coaxially placed on the outer peripheral side of the inner tube, and is axially movable relative to the inner tube; and drive means that is placed on the proximal end sides of the inner tube and outer tube and can move the outer tube relative to the inner tube to the proximal end side. As the drive means moves, liquid is caused to flow between the inner tube and the outer tube, from the proximal end side to the distal end side.</p>
