<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust response in starting and shifting according to a user's direction in a clutch control device to control an automatic clutch device. <P>SOLUTION: Specified maps corresponding to three kinds of running modes (normal mode, high-speed mode and slow-speed mode) are stored in an EEPROM of an ECU (engine control device). Each map specifies the relationship of a clutch rotational number difference with a target clutch position.
