PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve washing performance by atomizing a high-concentration detergent and spraying it to dishes. SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes a washing means for jetting washing water pressurized by a washing pump, a detergent liquid forming means for forming a detergent liquid having a higher concentration than that of the washing water to be jetted by the washing means, and a detergent liquid scattering means for micronizing the detergent liquid formed by the detergent liquid forming means and for sticking such detergent to objects to be washed or the like. The detergent liquid scattering means is composed of a scattering nozzle having a detergent liquid jetting nozzle and an air jetting nozzle, an air pump for supplying compressed air to the air jetting nozzle, and a controller for controlling the drive of the air pump. After the jetting of the high-concentration detergent liquid, the objects to be washed are allowed to stand for a predetermined time, followed by a prescribed washing process subsequently.
