DISPLAY DRIVE DEVICE, FLAT DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY DRIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably turn output signals of shift registers in all stages into an active state upon turning off a power supply by a simple configuration without adding a new transistor to an electrode substrate having a driving circuit.

SOLUTION: A display drive device 20A includes: shift registers 12, 13 in a plurality of stages each having an input terminal where an input signal enters, a first voltage electrode where a first power supply voltage is applied, a first clock terminal where a first clock signal enters, and an output terminal where an output signal exits; and a supply circuit 20 to supply a voltage to turn an output signal into an active state to the input terminal of the shift register in the first stage and to the first voltage electrodes and the first clock terminals of shift registers in all stages upon turning off the power supply.
