PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing belt excellent in flexibility and strength by which a bank can be reinforced to the maximum extent when used for a reinforced earth retaining wall, and to provide the reinforced earth retaining wall using it. SOLUTION: The reinforcing belt 10 comprises a plurality of belt parts 1 which are arranged in a manner that their longitudinal directions are made to be parallel, and a bridging part 2 bridging the space between the adjacent belt parts 1. The belt parts 1 are woven or knitted fiber. The bridging part 2 comprises a plurality of fiber bundles.
