PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for efficiently separating a carrying material. SOLUTION: A sucking opening part 14 for sucking a gas and the carrying material is provided at a swirling part 13 of an expanding part 17, the inner diameter of which is expanded upwardly, so as to be offset toward the circumference from the center position. A separating part 18 is provided at the upper part of the expanding part 17. A reducing part 24, the inner diameter of which is reduced upwardly, is provided at the top of the separating part 18. A gas-discharging opening 27, from which the gas sucked in is discharged, is provided at the smaller-diameter side of the reducing part 24. Air is sucked from the gas-discharging opening 27.
