<p>An oral care device has a drive shaft with an eccentrically revolving proximal end. A socket or other member constrains an intermediate position of the drive shaft such that both ends of the drive shaft tend to revolve. Depending on the particular design, the drive shaft may also rotate about its own axis while the ends are revolving. The constraining member may be user adjustable in a manner that alters the amplitude of movement of the drive shaft at the head end.</p> |
