<p>A device for recording information, and a control method thereof are provided to improve convenience of a user by adding a coded title easily on a write-once type recording medium whose title key file is not renewed. A device for recording information comprises a title key generating unit, a title key coding unit, and a coded title key recording unit. The title key generating unit produces a plurality of title keys(38) to follow plural rules(40) defining each method for controlling a title. The title key coding unit performs a coding operation by using a part of information indicating the plural corresponded rules for the plural titles keys generated by the title key generating unit. The coded title key recording unit combines and records the coded title key(44) by plural title key files at a recording medium according to the plural rules. A control method thereof includes a step of combining and recording the coded title key by the plural title key files at the recording medium according to the plural rules defining each method to control the title.</p> |
