<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lubrication failure, when operating a roller table, by using a conventional oil bathtub, without separately arranging a bearing part of a bevel gear in the oil bathtub. <P>SOLUTION: This power transmission device 11 synchronously rotates a plurality of table rollers 1 arranged in parallel. The oil bathtub 4 storing lubricating oil 8 is provided with a driven side bevel gear 3a respectively installed in one end part of the table rollers 1, a freely rotatable line shaft 5 attached with a driving side bevel gear 3b meshing with the driven side bevel gear 3a, and a speed reduction gear train 7 transmitting motive power from a motor 6 to the line shaft 5. The line shaft 5 is attached with at least one swirl vane 12 for generating a flow of the lubricating oil 8 in the opposite direction of a flow of the lubricating oil 8 by rotation of the driven side bevel gear 3a. The carrying upstream side and the downstream side of the oil bathtub 4 are connected by a communicating tube 13. When operating the roller table, a difference in the oil level height of the lubricating oil by rotation of the driven side bevel gear reduces, and lubrication of the gear is improved, and damage is hardly caused by the lubrication failure of the gear. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
