<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the operation of version management by accurately managing the version of a client application for performing communication with a server application. <P>SOLUTION: A communication request monitoring means 1c acquires a communication request from terminal equipment 2 to a server 3, and extracts version information 4 of a client application 2a included in a communication request. An update deciding means 1d decides whether or not the version shown by the extracted version information 4 is the latest version, and when it is decided that the eversion is not the latest version, it is decided that the version should be updated. When it is not decided that the version should be updated by the update deciding means 1d, a set file transmitting means 1e transmits a communication request to a server 3.
