PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inexpensive optical filter for a display with high production efficiency. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave shield layer (B) is provided on a transparent base (A), and its upper surface is coated with an adhesive layer (C) which is transparent and has electric conductivity, and then a current can be taken out of the adhesive layer (C) to the outside, thereby obtaining the optical filter for the display which has electromagnetic wave shielding capability.
