PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier free sash sill which eliminates a step formed by a projective edge projecting from an angle portion of a sash frame, and facilitates exchange of a face cover covering an upper surface of the sash sill. SOLUTION: The sash sill 1 is formed of a sill main body 5 and the face cover 6. The sill main body 5 has a lower stage surface 7 formed on an outside upper surface thereof, on which the angle portion 3 is mounted, and an upper stage surface 8 formed on an inside upper surface thereof, in which a recessed groove 9 having an opening is formed along a longitudinal direction of the sill main body 5. The recessed groove 8 has protrusions 10a, 10b each formed on an upper portion of each wall internal surface thereof. The face cover 6 has an extended portion 14 mounted on an end upper surface of a floor finish material 4, and a pair of engaging pieces 16, 16 formed on a lower surface thereof in a manner being spaced away from each other. The engaging pieces 16, 16 have protrusions 16a, 16b to be fitted into the protrusions 10a, 10b formed on both sides of the recessed groove 9 of the sill main body 5.
