PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a totally slim panorama photographing apparatus capable of reproducing a panorama image so as not to remain unnatural in conjunction between images. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an optical lens array 11 in which nine optical lens 8 integrally formed with 3 rows by 3 columns, a light-receptive element array 3 placed in parallel with the optical lens array 11, and two 45°right-angled prisms 12 placed opposite to right and left columns of the optical lens (side lens) 8 at the light-incident side of the optical lens array 11. The 45°right-angled prisms 12 are tilted so as not to cut off incident light from areas of about 40°with respect to the front of the subject angle to the center column of the optical lens (center lens) 8, and guides the light from the areas of about 40°with respect to the right and left of the subject angle to the side lens 8 with refracting so as to correspond to the optical axis L of the side lens 8. Consequently, the panorama image is reproduced by merging the center image focused via the center lens 8 and the right and left images focused via side lenses 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
