PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation system applicable to equipment etc. generally disposed at a wall. SOLUTION: The base isolation device 10 of the base isolation system 1 is attached to the bottom of equipment C to be base-isolated. The base isolation device 10 allows the relative displacement of the equipment C to a fixed object W from a normal position to the opposite side of the fixed object, and acts a recovering force to the normal position on the equipment C. An energy conversion member 20 for converging an impact energy such as an impact absorbing member into a thermal energy is installed on the surface of the equipment C facing the fixed object W.
