PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition which is excellent in extrusion property before curing, which can become a silicone rubber excellent in self flame-extinguishing property stable with time and preservation stability after the curing, and which is useful as an adhesive for electric/electronic parts and a CRT. SOLUTION: The room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition contains (A) diorganopolysiloxane of which molecular terminals are sealed by hydroxy or alkoxy groups and having 100-500,000 mPa s viscosity at 25°C, (B) silane compound having three or more hydrolyzable groups bonded with silicon atom in one molecule or its partial hydrolyzed compound, (C) aluminum hydroxide powder having average particle diameter of 50μm or less and surface-treated with one kind or two or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of silanes, siloxanes and silazanes, (E) colloidal calcium carbonate surface-treated with an aliphatic acid, resin acid, or surface active agent, and (D) a platinum metal catalyst.
