PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher capable of preventing the backflow of washing water with simpler constitution. SOLUTION: A check valve 21 equipped with a spherical valve element 22 to be moved along a water flow direction, a valve seat 28 having an inner diameter smaller than the valve element 22, a regulation plate 23 for regulating the movement of the valve element 22 and a water passing groove part 24 where washing water pass through is provided between a pump or a water distributor and a washing nozzle. The valve element 22 opens the valve seat 28 by itself when the pump is operated and closes the valve seat 28 by itself when the pump is stopped, and consequently the backflow of the washing water to the pump or the water distributor is prevented.
