<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphical indicator which is capable of providing a quantity of information using comparatively few dots (comparatively low dot density) and has a comparatively good visual effect. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a graphical indicator including a content data part (content part) and a header part. The content data part includes a plurality of image micro-units and an area occupied by the content data part is divided into a plurality of state zones. Each state zone is installed with one image micro-unit and the relevant image micro-unit is selectively placed in one of a number of virtual areas formed from the equally divided state zones.
