PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide paving equipment and a paving method capable of laying and leveling materials for paving at a step thereby correcting the step. SOLUTION: Paving equipment 1 and 1' capable of correcting a step G by laying and leveling materials for paving at the step G formed on a road surface comprises a hopper 10 storing a paving material and supplying the material to the step G; a slide member 30 supporting the hopper 10 and sliding on the road surface; and an attaching member 50 for installing the slide member 30 to a backhoe M for moving the slide member 30 along the step. The slide member 30 is suspended from an upper level U to a lower level L of the step G, and the paving material is supplied from a gap formed between the slide member 30 and the step G.
