<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel where a sharp edge is not formed around an airbag door when the airbag is inflated and which does not scratch the airbag. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument panel P is equipped with two airbag doors 3, 4 partitioned by a fragile part so as to be closed in a normal state and opened in a double swinging manner in passing of the airbag as a passage port where the airbag inflated by the operation of an airbag device A passes. The fragile part is composed of tear lines T1, T2 functioning as a hinge when the two doors are opened, a tear line T3 which runs in the same direction with these tear lines and partitions the two doors, and tear lines T4, T5 which run to the direction crossing with three tear lines and connect these ends with each other. These tear lines are equipped with a machining part 5 forming a groove part and a bridge part 6 having no groove part. The tear lines T3 to T5 are broken by thinning the wall thickness of the bridge part in inflating of the airbag, and the wall thickness of the bridge part in the tear line T3 gradually becomes thin toward the direction of the door of the vehicle rear side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
