PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device equipped with a highly durable printing head wiping/cleaning means of a space-saving simple structure in eliminating the clogging of a printing head and the recovery of a pressure loss state, and also, normalizing an operation by removing unnecessary ink adhering to the head. SOLUTION: This inkjet recording device is operated in the way a cap is tilted to a nozzle surface, and is supported with only part of the cap in contact with the nozzle surface.
